Knight Sports V-mount?

Has anybody purchased this v-mount intercooler/radiator from Knight Sports? Does the intercooler sit on top like a horizontal mount? Living in Texas, installing a front mount would cause more overheating problems because it blocks the radiator, and I don't really care for the M2 type intercooler that sits in the stock location? Is this the only alternative?

ive considered doing this with custom work. Get someone to make a IC (Spearco) big enough and with the end takes setup right and then a custom radiator where both the in and the out flows of the end tanks are on the bottom of the rad. and then just fab some brackets for it, and you should be good to go. but i havent had time and more importantly the money. its a great i dea tho, cold air to both the IC and the rad...the only concern would be where to mount the A/c condensor, i figured behind the rad, but that would require drainin the freon and then fabing shorter tubes and then mounting it.... sigh... if i had the time and money...

I know if you search for Knight sports V-Mount you will get a couple of hits. One is in a thread about a custom set-up rotaryextreme is/probally going to make soon. Here's the thread:

I like the Horizontail Mount by SR but they stoped making it due to duct fabricating problems. When I get an intercooler it will probally be a HMIC.

If you want the AC to be cold you best not mount is behind the radiator. There's a reason why the condensor is always in front of the radiator...
