its the motor...dammit!!

argh...compression test this morning and ran a 7,3,2 on the back rotor...sob.

Im rebuilding with ceramic seals...fark this 15lb max crap...I want to run 13-15 lbs and not worry anymore

Lemme know if you want to go with those ceramics 3mm's. Good to 24psi of boost and damn near bulletproof from detonation.

actually, detonation will happen no matter what kind of seals you are running. It all depends on your fuel tuning/timing and what grade of gas you're running. I wouldnt run more than 14 psi on the stock turbos with pump gas. I think 15 is the absolute max? Anything more than that and you'll need racing fuel.

Once I get the dyno tune my girl, im keeping her at 12-13 at the most.... that is... before going single turbo :p no more shoddy sequentials to worry about. I've heard A'pexi's IHI RX6 ballbearing single turbo has hardly any noticeable lag and excellent power throught the rev range.... just a thought

Anyhow...my condolences for your 7... hopefully when it's all finished it'll be badder than ever
