Keyless Entry

hey everyone,
i was wondering if anyone has put on any keyless antry kits on your FDs. i was looking at the kit from VictoriaBritish.com, and was wondering if anyone has installed that on thier car. or if anyone has put on any other kits that they could recomend.

oh the sarch feature holy crap i never thought of that...just kidding.. i wanted to know specificly about the victoria british kit. and id rather not go replacing the whole sytem. my buddy put one of those two way pager bullcrap systems in his supra and it never worked right.

he didnt put the kit i wanna get, he put on one of those paging full alarm kits on his car. i just wanna get the remote entry kit. i think the alarm on the car is good enough for me.

I put in a "Viper" alarm, and added a lock solonoid to the drivers side (it doesn't have one stock). I've had keyless entry for 6 years now. Good thing, as the two times I've tried to use my key I found it bends - as if it was made of pasta! The Viper engages the stock alarm and disarms it - with the remote.

I suspect the alarm is close to the same price as the keyless entry system. I have the viper and stock alarm working together. The stock disables the starter and the viper disables the fuel pump. I also installed the Viper flashing led inside the stock alarm lamp housing on the console so it now flashes red-red-red-orange-red-red-red-orange etc.

so i guess what you guys are saying is to put a completely separate alarm on my car? ill try out the kit i was looking at and if that doesnt work ill just go totally after market.
