I had my Kaaz diff installed today. I spent 30 minutes in the parking lot doing figure 8's. I am going to have the oil changed tomorrow. Do you think it is safe to take the car to the drag strip tomorrow night? I am anxious to make a 11.5 second pass

yes, you should be fine. as soon as i changed my fluid, i went out and gave it hell. if not, you've always got a warranty, right?

 

i took my out about the 45min circle 8 and did some pass, it hold up ok, the unit is about one year old.

 

Yeah you'll be fine......except maybe your axles now are the weakest link! Haha!! Have fun with it and just turn the radio up if it's too load for you. Keep the oil fresh and the sound stays to a minumum i notice with mine. Also try adding some GM limited slip additive to the mix.( helps the chatter slightly)

 

what fluid are you using? when i changed to the kazz fluid mine made less noise

 

I am using amsoil. We'll see how it works...
