Just wrecked my car....now what?

I guess its not that bad. I just moved to a new city so i'm not too familiar with everything yet. I was pulling out of Burger King and i drilled one of those concrete protectors that go around their parking lot lights. I seriously dont know how i didnt see it but i didnt. I have full coverage on my car but i'm not sure what to do. Should i have contacted the police immediatly to file a report or should i just wait till tomorrow and contact my insurance agent? Basically i'm gonna need a new front bumper, hood, and possibly headlights and a driverside quarterpanel. Thats iffy though. My car is in great need for a paint job so it doesnt look the greatest. I'm afraid the insurance adjuster is going to come out and take a look at my car and just figure i dont take care of it and just replace the front bumper and maybe the hood. Then my car wont match for ****. I'll have a new freshly painted bumper and hood while the rest of my car looks like crap. And does anyone know how much those parts cost from mazda? Hopefully theres no frame damage done or anything serious like that. Thanks for any help.

REPORT it first thing tomorrow..you wll be surprised at how much a front bumber and hood cost...this is your chance to go aftermarket (body kit) if you dont mind kicking in some $$$.. I would not expect a full repaint though...that would be a stretch.

Pray you insurance does not go up....not to be dishonest of anything.but can you say someone hit you instead....might look better.

ya gotta report it!!!

Listen, I speak from experience here......
In most states, unless you are severely injured, you have only 24 hours to report an accident if the damage estimate exceeds $500.
I know, as I got a BIG *** ticket once when all I did was uh...."swerve to miss a dog..." in my Triumph.....okay okay I was racing a Scirocco.....but I ended up sticking my car in a ditch and did about $2500 in damage, and damned near went to jail because I didn't report it......
Friggin' judge was a ******** about it.

And I believe a body shop won't touch it without a police report....

The dad of a friend of mine had the same thing happen when his wife ran into HIS car backing out of the garage...the dad thought, well hell, these are both MY cars so no biggie.....
WRONG!
He got the same treatment as me, same judge.
First question was "Had you been drinking, were you intoxicated at the time?"
This is the sort of **** you gotta watch out for.......
