MS just wondering what battery ppl are going with these days

I have a Red top optima relocated to the rear. I was told by Rotorsports racing that I needed to change to a batteries plus battery after I asked them to fix a battery drain problem. I've had the battery and alternator checked out and were good but after three days of non use in my car, my battery goes dead. SO, I was wondering what type of battery ppl are using in there 7's these days.

It's more $$$, but go with a Braille Dry Cell and relocate it in the engine bay or somewhere else.

I use Braille. Sits in a custom bracket next to my M2 large SMIC. Car starts right up even when sitting outside for 12 hours in 30 degree weather.

yellow top.

DD in the spring/summer.
I either disconnect it/throw a trickle charger on it. or warm up the car twice a week.

and as far as I know optima are pretty easy to find and have decent warranty coverage. autozone/murrays/pepboys/oreily

those optima batteries suck! I had a yellow top and red top, went dead way too fast. Now I got a pc680 and its much better, smaller and real light which is great.

The current Yellow Tops are different than they were a few years ago. Due to issues, they redesigned them.
