Oh yeah, I'm still dreaming of running the car with the brake upgrade like Manny has on his car (99 RS front and rear). Man I bet that thing outbrakes alot of cars at the track. Any stories Manny? I just need to do some scca solo2 stuff and get my mazdacomp membership back in spec.

No drama. The Porsche 911 turbo guys wonder how I can stay out there with them with no brake fade LOL I tell them the brakes are stock (Type RS hee hee )

I'm planning for a return to Road Atlanta with the Peachtree Chapter BMW CCA in '04. Which PCA chapter is running Road Atlanta? I didn't see that DE listed on the www.pca.org calendar??

Manny, its the peachstate PCA that is hosting the DE event in late August. When you decide which event your going to make it to..drop me a line so I can sign up as well.

Gotta check on this to see if Peach State PCA has any room for more students (not ready to instruct @ Road Atlanta...haven't been there in 3 years!)

thanks Damian. i checked out the first site after i made my post. have you ever made it down to MAM? that's just 2 hours south of me. i've gone to one of the street races down there last year. you race on the long straight, then drive the course back at 40 mph, but that's still fun cause it's not like you can drive on a track all the time.

Hmm, August 23/24 is too close to the Mid Ohio Sept 1/2 school with TracQuest. Besides, TracQuest runs @ Road Atlanta in June, and I run free as an instructor (hee hee ) Have fun and be safe!

There's Putnam Park Road Course www.putnampark.com and Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP). I'm hosting an evening Putnam Park event this Friday night, July 25. You're welcome to spectate. We start @ 5 pm and go until 8 pm or dusk. Bring a helmet and catch a ride with one of the Ferrari owners LOL
