just started my zimax engine
just started my engine.........it took us two days to swap the engine..........started right up (didnt need to prime the fuel line)..........good vaccum
(- 41 cm hg) and oil pressure..........its idling superbly (no hunting).........a lot of smoke at start up.........now its all gone.
I just have one question.
Is it okay if i run my 7 with the A/C on. I hardly have 10km on the rebuild. I wont be going past 3k rpm neither am i going to boost it. However is it okay if i use my a/c?
will be posting lots of pics as soon as i can figure out how to.
Now all it needs is a good paint job. And i'm thinking about a nice shade of titanium grey.
Another interesting thing was the labor cost. I paid a labor bill of $180 for the full swap and that includes coolant and engine oil. (i'm running dino for the breakin)
will be taking it out for a ride tonight.

What makes a Zimax engine a Zimax??
BTW. I know this is on going debate. But..
From alot of reputable people, I hear, that
Rotaries don't require breakin like conventional
motors.. SO get to boosting.. = )
