just replaced my ic and did ast elim-now car idles REAL low!
Ok I just put in an m2 medium size ic and got rid of the air sep tank. Now the car idles ranging from like 200 to 700 rpm and it even stalled last time I had it running. It also seems like i need to hit the throttle a lot harder to acheive the same rpms as before. I've ruled out the ast elim as part of the problem. What do you guys think it could be? 1 thing I am hopping it is, is a vac hose. when i took the stock elbow off and put the greddy on i knowticed a little hole with a little bit of oil in it on the under side of the throttle body. I just left this open because i never took anything out of it but it did look weird to me. Was there supposed to be a vac hose there? if not what else could it be. Thanks
Just below the elbow there are two hoses. One closest to the firewall and one directly opposite to it. One of them goes to the ISC if I remember right. That could be the source of your idle problem.
want2race, thanks man. it looks like that was what my problem was. I still have a flooded car but I did that map sensor search like you said and it really sounds like thats what was disconnected. How do I get my car started again though. It's badly flooded.
