Just a little fixer for those handles

I have broken 2 handles. Well, one and my girlfriend broke one. But on the most recent fix it was starting to get really stiff and well I didn't wanna break another. So Herblenny and I sprayed some WD40 down in the little spring behind the handle it now it opens like butter baby. Someone that has stiff handles and is kinda nervous about opening the door. Just spray some and it will loosen right up. Just my little input.

Just FYI, WD-40 is not really a lubricant. Make sure you use some 3-in-1 oil or some other real lubricant.

WD-40 isn't a plastics best friend. And some lubricant's aren't wire and contact friendly. Lithium grease on the moving parts would be your best bet, or silicone spray.

The factory used a plastic friendly grease. That is what I've used. Keeps working for longer than WD-40, etc.

The lithium grease works great. It'd be my first choice.

I used a zinc oxide grease for mine. Had it lying around from a window regulator repair job on my old Toyota. Worked a charm. I figured if it was good enough for a window regulator (which often gets wet) then it was good enough for my lock mechanism/door opener.
