Just installed a trans brace

After installing my transmission brace I noticed a lot of vibration under WOT. Is this normal?

was there any "bushing" type material between the brace and chassis to absorb the NVH (noise, vibration, harshness)?

then you are getting every little vibration that your engine/tranny makes. I had have had solid mounts on many cars, it just takes some getting used to. On one of my cars(302) it was a nice massage. Also keep in mind this will help you feel any changes in your engine like a misfire.

Thanks, I was just making sure. The car also feels slower, could that be attributed to the lack of drivetrain movement?

It should help your 60ft times due to less engine movement allowing more power transfer through the drivetrain.

EDIT: You might want to invest in solid motor mounts to complete the package and take some strain off the solid tranny mounts.
