Just installed Med IC and CF intake!

OK I finally put in my M2/ASP Med IC and CF intake along with a M2 Stage III chipped ECU.

The car is definitely faster especially on the second turbo, but at right around 7100rpm the power just drops off. My boost is 11-12 on the first turbo and a rock solid 10 psi up to about 7000 rpm.

I want to run a little more boost as that is probably where the bigger power is hiding. I was expecting a little more HP from my setup. How much boost are you guys running with the M2 ECU? I'm thinking 12-13psi should be fine?

M2's stage 3 ECU is set up for DP, CB, CAI, and IC up to 13 psi. M2 claims 315rwhp but most dyno a little lower, still a potent package.

For 2 years, I had the M2 stage 2 ECU for the above mods minus IC at 12 psi. At first I boosted like 12-8-9 so I added the home depot valves in WG and PC lines to fine tune - works good but needs adjustment when weather changes.

Jeff, If you're free the 9th of March, you should make the trip up to Woodburn. Its a test and tune day, so you should be able to get quite a few runs in. I would'nt mind lining up against you a time or two. CJ

I forgot to mention my car already has a DP and CB. So it sounds like I can run the 12-13 psi that I want and do just fine. I'd really like to tweak the boost with pills but it is such a PIA to get them I'll probably try the Home Depot solution.

Oh and I've had this M2 CF intake sitting in my garage, NEW for an embarrassing amount of time. I think I got it in Oct 2001 or was it 2000?

Hey CJ, yeah I'd like to make it up there. If it isn't raining I'll try and go. What time to they open? To me my car doesn't feel like it'll pull high 12's right now. I'll get the g-tech out later today and see what it does.
