Just got Tune-up & somethings wrong

After getting new spark plugs, sp wires, and oil change, I drove the car and everytime I floored it the lights inside dim. I didnt have the stereo on but I did have the headlights on. Oh, and before I had the tune up, the car wouldnt start untill I played w/ the power wire on the battery. I tightened everything and it still did it sometimes.

Has anyone else had this problem? Are there any suggestions?

BTW- I did a search and couldnt find anything.

to test the Alternator unplug the positive terminal on your car while the car is running.. if it stalls.. then either your alt is bad or a wire got unplugged. I know there is a hookup near the spark plug wires so check it and make sure it didnt get unplugged while the plugs and wires were being changed.

P.S Your Alternator should be able to power every accessorie in your car without stalling or bogging

thanks, I'll try those things and I'll let you know if it worked.

What do you think the reason is for the car not starting until I play w/ the battery connectors though? Do you think that maybe they are bad, and if so, is it hard to replace?
