Blur,

Very...very nice car....
Don't worry about the gaps around pop-up lights.
You can adjust them
There are 2 screws in the back of the pop up, that adjust the cover.
Sometimes people overtighten them and they break.

Look for the exterior manual here: http://www.iluvmyrx7.com

Hope that helps. Its pretty normal about the lights cover.

Reza

Thanks for the compliments , and thanks Reza, I'll try that as soon as I can. Haha, nice car Teddy. I have a question about your hood, do you have grills mounted underneath the vents? If you do, how did you attach them? On my hood they seemed to use bondo or epoxy to mount the grills to the vents from underneath, but they are silver and I'm not sure if I like the look. I was wondering if maybe I could paint them black or something.

generally epoxy is used to mount grills on fiberglass... you can't go wrong with that stuff and it will never break........... awesome car, looks sharp

Here is how it looks under the hood

They are attached using plastic tabs. For some reason it's REALLY difficult to remove them, so I just leave it on.

You live in BOCA!?!?! LOL! My gf lives near Miami and she's going to trip if she see's your car. Will probably think it's me or something.

Man, I didn't know there were so many South Florida members on this forum. I live on the very edge of Boca near Deerfield, about 5 minutes south of Mizner. Are there many meets in the area? Haha, well Teddy, I'm not in Miami much, but that would be interesting. And one more thing about your grills, where did you get them, and do you have a pic from the top? The reason I don't like mine is they look somewhat Home Depot Racing Style, like on the ricers. They are those weird reflective silver type grills.

The grills came with the hood. Mine are black plastic and kind of look like window blinds. I'll have to take a picture of them from the top. I'll post it later though.

Blur, could you provide a little info about your car? Specifically how many miles are on it, original engine and mods? It's a beautiful car and i really like the JDM FD wheels on it.

As a fellow CYM owner, i can tell you that you aren't going to believe the attention you get when you drive it. Its seriously almost rock star status

Well... I live in Fort Lauderdale.. not Miami. There are a bunch of FDs in south Miami. Not too many that I know of in our areas. Theres a caravan thats going to Rotorfest next month. You could probably meet up with most of the people down here. We are leaving on Sat. Feb 15 going to Gainesville. Check the SE section.

Hehe, nice ride man !
I also took few pictures of my FD which I got 4 weeks ago, but is at the moment at the mazda service getting some repairs done (ran over a roadkill at night 2 days after I got it). The car is dirty as it's sitting outside waiting for parts to be ordered/delivered. It's a stock +93 Touring with front lip and main cat removed. Looks much better when washed To top it off, it's one of TWO FDs in country - talking about exclusivity

Thanks for all the compliments guys, I can just feel the love . Here is some info ForceFed, and I already noticed the attention, and some unwanted attention too, damn state troopers, he actually followed me...The car has 120,000 miles on the frame, and 6,000 miles on all the mods. The car was also repainted 6,000 miles ago and looks absolutely amazing (it is an original CYM), as well as having the rear suspension pillow ***** rebuilt and the brake system being reworked. The interior is mint, and I was stunned by the condition of the ever so beautiful suede seats...mmmmm.

I'm actually not sure about that, it is either stock or Pettit's upgraded ECU. The owner did not know too much about the car, but he personally knew Cameron of Pettit Racing and I plan on going down to see Cameron sometime and ask him some questions.
