just got my profec b, quick question

is was reading the installation directions on Scuderia. it seems some people have problems using the profec b with high boost. i will be running 15lbs on the high end & 10lbs on the end. is there going to be a problem, should i have gotten a diffrent controler?

The M2 ecu is tuned for 12 psi. I talked to the guy at M2 and he said that he recommends only 12 psi but the dynos on the M2 site were at 13 psi.

I wouldn't recommend 15 psi on your setup.

The Profec B has no problem running high boost. The posts you refer to mention a problem getting high levels of boost on the PRIMARY turbo only. If this occurs, you can hook both the pre-control and wastegate (T-them) to the solenoid instead of just the wastegate.

BTW, Mor is right. You should not be running 15 psi on the M2 ecu. 12-13 psi is the max with that ecu. You should really have an upgraded fuel system (which requires a PFC, Haltech, etc) to run over 13 psi.

Oh BTW, I just hooked up my Profec B Spec II last week and did the version that taps into both Wastegate and Pre-Control actuators. I capped off the hoses to both Wastegate and Pre-Control solenoids. I get steady 10 psi with little spike on primary like maybe 0.5 psi.

The fuel pump upgrade won't really help you until you have larger injectors. And you can't run larger injectors without a stand-alone ecu....
