CA Just got my car back from the bodyshop..need help

Just got my car back and now the map lights don't work along with my radio. I'm guessing there is a unplugged harness/plug somewhere...but where?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

CHEERS!

Take it back. If it worked before they should put it back the same way.

def take it back...but before you do, check every little thing you can think of, also fitment. make sure nothing is missing and out of place either.

i had some work done last year on another car and the jokers forgot to put the side marker lights back in and left the front lp off, which is a ticket around here.

In the fuse box in the engine bay, there are 2 fuses in a yellow harness-10 amp I believe. Change them.

Wires crossed in my mind, I was thinking of a different car. Either way, if you check your fuses, many cars will run their radio and dome lights from the same fuse. I haven't run into this problem just yet with this car, so I dont know the exact location. Hope this helps though.

I took my car to a local body shop yesterday and just wanted to get a quote as to how much they'll charge to paint the complete car.

He quoted me 8k to 10K.

Then he tells me while taking the car apart if something brakes it will be extra.

I said to him, "So, if you brake something I am to pay for that?"

He said yes. After that I was not going to waste my breath talking to him anymore.

It's pathetic how un-professional and dis-courteous customer service and just plain talking nicely to people is becoming a rare thing.

I hope you can get your issue resolved soon.

I hate bodyshops. In NJ, alot of them are pretty sketchy. They talk trash about one another and quality isn't consistent so you never know.

Dude i had my car sprayed 350z silverstone gray for $1400 and that was with the motor out of and accessories out of the car inlcuding inside door jambs and undeneath trunk.

$8-10K means they dont want to do your car

Problem solved, the "room" fuse went out in the fusebox found by the drivers dead pedal.

I would've took the car someplace else if they were going to charge the customer for the shop breaking parts....

Any good shop will take liability for any damage done to a car in their care, if one doesnt, stay the **** away from them.
