i'm not sure, but i'm getting the idea that you may have purchased some "turner transformation, bling bling, pimp my ride," crappy knock-off rims that would be well suited for a low performance rice burner like an eclipse but have little to no reason to be mounted on a FD3

^^ thats why we're (mainly in the lounge tho) known as the "evil Forum"

And on retrospect, we're not that bad. Some forums eat their own young out of the womb. . . . .

It's not THAT bad man I think they look okay, just lower it and you're good to go. I'm sure they look good while rolling.

aznraver,

The important thing is "do you like the wheels?". Don't mod your car to impress people, mod your car for your own enjoyment. People will have opinions good and bad. Just be careful as when "showing" your ride, you are bound to have one or more negative comments no matter what your car looks like.

aznraver,

If you aren't set on keeping those rims, call Rishie at AutoRND: www.autornd.com/

He will work with you on finding the best rims to suit your needs and your wallet (as well as getting A+ fitment for the FD).

I think the fact that you said the word "fake", started all the responses. Lesson: Don't tell the forum they're fake!

Based on looks, I think they look okay. I wouldn't put 'em on my 7, but hey if you like it, that's what matters to you.

The Eclipse comment was actually referring to the (apparently) 7" width and P215 "meats". They looked a little narrow.

EDIT: They look pretty good on the car, though.

I really thought they were comparable to volk racings...A lot of people think that manarays are well knows....howcome they are so expensive?
And the rims are 18 x 8.5 all around with 225s...

they are still 371 us MSRP per rims...

Anzraver,

1. Expect the worst when asking others opinions.

2. Dont ask for others opinions.

The rims look way better than stock and if a better looking rim is what your were going for then you succeeded.

If you were trying to enter your car in the 24 hours of Leman's it may not be the best choice..but I imagine that wasnt your goal.

To the rest of you nay sayers..

Do you stop parents with ugly children on the street and let them know how ugly thier kids are?

Shawn

Manarays are fairly popular with BMW's, Acura's and Lexus. You have to remember that most of the FD crowd won't give your rims a second look unless they are Volks, Work, BBS or some of the others in the "approved" list regardless of how much you paid for them.

If you like them, enjoy them.
