Just a fun picture…

My son just picked up a 96 Miata with 48000 original miles. Like the FDs baby brother 😃

Both are cool but the FD just looks so much better.

I kind of want a Miata and agree that the FD looks better but would think the Miata is less stressful to drive.

Very clean acquisition John I hope you and your son have some fun times together with both brilliant blacks

Good luck wrapping up the water injection install (*and everything else you have going on) - what lift do you have the FD up on?

Thanks!

I think the brand of lift is “rotary.” No joke.

It’s more of a tire changing lift, but it was reasonably priced on Craigslist and there’s enough room to work. And safe.

Have you ever looked at the picture of the vehicle being lifted on a rotary lift?

No 👀

But I just looked. It’s a Rotary lift.

Only comes about 30” off the ground… has safety ratcheting in case the hydraulics fail.

I remember it and Mazda needs to make it happen as I would get it to replace my 1992 FD. Of course I would have to upgrade the engine.
