Just finished a turbo swap need a little help

Hey guys

i jsut finished swapping out my blown turbos and put a set of used stock twins which are in pretty good condition. when i first started my car it ran a little rough cause of idle but then i turned it down a bit and it ran really good. i went out to test drive it and if i gave it any decent amount of gas it would stutter and when i rev it it wont get passed 4000rpm i topped off all of the fluids and ive had premium gas sitting for about 6 months and i put fuel injector cleaner into the tank before i started driving it and i let it run for a bit i dont think that would have any effect on it what so ever but i could definitely use your guys help. any ideas what it could be? bad injectors?

The only thing you touched was the turbos? Nothing else? What ECU? What other mods? Anything you can think of that you did during the time the car was down would also help us figure out the issue for you.

That is very important info I am guessing you didnt install resistors in the wiring harness did you? Install the resistors, reset the ecu and your problem will be fixed.

Reset the ecu and drive the car, watch the boost gauge, if when it gets to 0(between vacuum and boost) if that is when it back fires and stutters then you are in limp mode. I would make sure you installed all the correct resistors and make sure they are making a good connection. Definitely sounds as if the car is in limp mode.

Check the belt that goes onto to the pump, and also your fluid level.

I have had that happen several times on teh stock ecu after installing a non-seq setup, where I had to reset the ecu and all was good. Glad it worked out for you.
