Just curious.. any good Tec3 tuners??

I'm just curious to know if anyone know of any good tec3 tuners in USA.. especially for rotary cars.

I'm currently debating on which ECU to get.. Tec3 or Microtech LTX12S.
The guy who I bought my engine from can tune microtech, but like some features of Tec3.

There really hasn't been many folks using the Tec3 on the RX-7 that I know of. IMHO, one of the most important things with a standalone EFI system is a community behind it. The Haltech, Microtech, and PowerFC all have really strong communities and are well documented - if you run into a problem, someone else likely has had the problem before as well.

Having someone local that knows the Microtech well is a strong selling point.

Most every aftermarket ECU will get the job done if tuned well. What features do you like on the Tec3?

Hehe . Probably your best bet is to hit up the 20B forum and see what others are running, have had success with, etc. I know the Microtech has been used quite a bit on 20b's, and it should be pretty well supported.

The ECU part of the equation is probably down the road a bit, but you're probably like me - window shopping for the parts you'll need and making a plan .

Demetrios Karagiannis from Reactive Racing, Ray@PFS and Ray at SR-Motorsports all are expert tuners who can setup a TEC III. All of them run them on 700+ rwhp 13B's, but they should be able to help you.

Demetrios is a good choice. He has had a lot of experience with it on his race car and also knows how to setup the little things like power steering, ac, IAC. In addition he is officially sponsored by Electromotive so he has an inside line to their tech department.
