What are the differences in the stock u.s. motor vs. the stock jdm motor? I just bought a jdm motor and I am going to install it. Just wanted to know some figures.

i believe the 93 jdm motor produce the same power as the rest of 93 distrubuted throughout the world. I think that in 96-98 they got a slight increase to 265 or something. Then in 99 up had 280.

Nothing significant. The power increases that came in later years came from the fact the Japanese cars have no pre-cat, intake tract flow improvements, better sealing turbos, and a pound or two more boost.... the motor itself never accounted for any more power
