Just cant narrow down my fuel smell.

I've had a fuel smell during boost for quite some time. I just don't boost when I do happen to drive it.

I've replaced:
FPD
Metal check valve
brake vacuum hoses

and I've checked over the purge valve hoses.

So now it seems to be that the LIM gasket is the last thing to look at. The motor was rebuild before I got it, so I am ASSUMING it is a metal gasket, could such a failure happen on a metal gasket? I can't tell if it is metal or paper, just too much **** in the way.

I assume I can replace the gasket without getting crazy:
Drop the turbos and pipes to go with it
remove UIM
I assume I can leave most of the stuff connected to the LIM if I just can get it far enough away to replace the gasket. Or does it look like I also need to remove a couple of fuel hoses along with the air pump crap and the vacuum lines from the rats nest?

Not a weekend I'm looking forward to.

Isn't there a way to pressure test the fuel system to look for leaks? I thought I had seen a procedure for that in the FSM but I could be wrong.
