Just bought my Rex!!!!!!!

Hi Guys,
Just wanted everyone to know that I finally picked up my Rex after months of looking all around and here on the forum. I want thank everyone for all there input. I'll attach a picture below. Once I get settled in I will put up a web page of the car.
For those out there that want to know I picked it up for 6K. It has a blown motor so right now I am in the process of pulling stuff off the engine so I can yank the motor.

I'll put up plenty of pictures tomorrow!

Do you know why the engine blew? I'd be interested to know.
Also, did it have any mods on it?

The body looks in great shape, so it should make a great car.

I think that on this board we should get as much info as we can when someone's engine blows. It'll help us all learn the various potential weak spots and help us make our engines last longer.
I don't think there are any freak or mysterious causes of engine failure. It's gotta be something mechanical....o-ring failure, not enough fuel getting in the engine, coolant leak, etc.

Thanks for any info you can give us, and good luck with your new car.

Congrats!

I drove mine for 4 years and had it rebuilt @ 114,000 miles. Now it's really way too cool!
