Just bought my First FD.
Hey everyone just wanted to say hi. I've been trolling around the forums for a month or 2 now, but yeasterday I finally was able to purchase my first FD.
Its a 93 Base modle and its completly stock. The engine was rebuilt about a year ago and the turbos rebuilt about 2-3 weeks ago. The car is very clean interior and exterior, but does need to have some fresh red paint.
So now i guess i need to start doin all the reliability mods. boost guage, DP, aluminum ast. and many others. I look forward to working on this car.
I love these forums you all have offered us new to the world of rotories a great place to acquire knowledge. So thanks in advance im sure ill have plenty of questions in days to come.

No matter how many reliability mods you have, just always remember not to get on it until your engine is fully warmed up. For many reasons an FD requires a bunch of discipline and responsibility.

I should have made an intro post too. :-/
I'm a noobie FD owner as well, and I'm in California, but unfortunately I'm down in the Temecula Area. Glad to see other FD's around because I still very rarely ever see any Rotary vehicles at all.

No doubt there are too many modifications out there possible for the FD. But take baby steps and you will be more than pleased with the results.

Welcome to the club ~ Be prepared to have people come over an ask how many pistons that thing has...
also be prepared to have chicks wanting you to take them for a "ride"
Well now im crossing my fingers on passing Smog test. I failed yeasterday my CO's were at 4% on 25mph test where its suppose to be only 0.5%
So i cleaned out my air filter, cleaned my spark plugs they were looking dirty, and put a little alchol in my gas. Any other suggestions? im thinkin of checkin to see if my airpump is working
