just bought my fd, a few questions.

Like the title says I just bought my Fd yesterday and so far it's a hell of a lot better than my fc in almost every aspect, but i have a few questions about the electronics. It has an hks boost controller which the previous owner left unplugged when he put a new engine and tranny in. It's an old model so first off i want to know if it's worth it to keep or should i just buy a newer one and second it has a plug hanging out of the glove box but when i pulled the panel off the ecu there was no mate, there were four stray wires with connetors to place another wire there but that's it. Also in the engine bay it looks like part of the intercooler piping was replaced with hks elbows, is that of any benefit or just to look nice? Thanks for the help

that boost controller is not a good one for the twin turbos. if u can get a greddy profec B, about 300$.

the pipes replace the rubber ones on the intercooler which break over time, its a common problem. keep the pipes.

I got the car ready for the sale

car over the morning he was to meet you for the sale. I know it has a code 16
(EGR sensor). The sensor works but it has a bit of carbon build up so it doesn't
close all the way and activate the switch.
There are some quick upgrades you can do to the car that help with
reliabilty. There is also a leftover boost control solinoid just below the
fan relays at the right strut tower.
I had the pipeing off to get to the egr and there wasn't a bunch of oil in the
runners so turbos should be ok.
Give me a call for some quick, easy and free things to do that will help you
and the car remain happy.
