Jumpy temp gauge

Ever since i got my car back after the accident my temp gauge is acting all weird
it goes up and down depending on the driving i do
i check the coolant levels every 2 days cause of my paranoia
any ideas?

It could be your thermostat failing.

It could be a wire from the temperature sensor touching ground.

I tend to think it's the thermostat.

how much for a new thermostat and faygay means airplane i guess in cantonese
