JIC Titanium Exhaust for FD - Superlight weight!
Newly learned info about these exhaust systems. These are perfect if you want a superlight weight, ultra performance, and ultra quiet exhaust system.
The cable and the switch that you see in the picture is actually a remote silencer that you could open and close from your dash. It works like this:
If you guys are interested in this exhaust Rishie, a.k.a. ARD T2, of Automotive R&D is official JIC dealer. Contact him at autornd@hotmail.com. He told me that the system that he just recently installed on a IS300 only weighed 6 lbs.

That looks like a cool setup. I bet it is still pretty loud, but the convenience of being able to change the tone without having to pull parts off the car is a very nice feature.

They are extremely light
...as light as my cell phone!
I don't think they come with a mid pipe and couldn't find out if a MP was an option as I couldn't explain it in Japanese and he couldn't tell me in English.
That switch sounds like a trick way of beating tickets though
There is a 1/2 Ti' alternative for about $300 less. Ti' can and SS piping. But unfortunately I haven't heard it yet.

Anybody speak Japanese, uhg
SS = All SUS stainless piping & can
ST = Stainless piping & Titanium can
TI = Titanium pipng "& can", but I think it's only cat back. I couldn't translate the question when I asked in person.
Should I start a thread asking to translate?
