Jewl at a local gas station
Could not get a certain answer from the attendant on duty, but seems it was left there by someone who was trying to redo the interior and the owner never came back to get it. Yea im a little lost aswell. And it wasnt for sale (the only reason I stopped to take pics). Good project car if you ask me.

I was hoping he would have a pic of her leaning over filling up her tank while wearing a halter top.

I won't let go
If it's abandoned then that's it. I don't know what the statute is for the state, but if attempts have been made to contact the registered owner fail, it's up for grabs. How do I know?
Cause it happened to me a long time ago in KY. I had a 78 Camaro that died on me in near Olive Hill, KY on the way back to Chicago from a school in NC. I arranged with the owner at a Happy Mart gas station to leave it there with the intention to get it in a week. I wasn't able to and had to ship out to Okinawa. After a little procrastination and impatience on their part, it was towed to a local Chevy dealer and sold for junk. I had talked to a lawyer but never followed through. I was 19 at the time...so a little immature about such things.
So try to find an owner and if no luck, check the statute of limitations and it's probably yours.

Took a better look today. Sticker in the windshield says its registered to the dept. of defense. and the owner must work at an AFB because of the pass on the dash. There is no tranny, but the engine looks to be intact. Gas station attendants are very flaky about it, not giving me much info.

if you want it that bad, you could even find out the owner's command and call them, then they'll get ahold of the owner.
good luck, and please save her.
