JDMonline.com import engines
I'm just curious what everyone thinks of 13B TT imported engines from Japan, at $1750 inlcuding:
* Distributor
* Intake Manifold
* Exhaust Manifold
* Alternator
* Power Steering Pump
* Throttle Body
* (2) Turbos
* Sensors
* A/C Compressor
* Fuel Rail
* Injectors
* Compression Test
From reading on the net, it seems everyone rebuilds their cores instead of getting these units? Why or why not? would these engines need a rebuild anyway?

It all adds up and it's not even a new engine (granted you're getting a long block). Just get a Kevin Landers Rotary Resurrection rebuild. Very economical and plenty of praise about his rebuilds. Shipping might kill the value for you since you're on the west coast, but still worth looking into.

Constant threat
Don't get sucked into thinking you are saving ANY money going that route. As others have said, if you are wanting to go the least expensive way (which it sounds like you are) then you should contact Rotary Resurrection. Good prices on good products, lots of history, lots of satisfied customers. Kevin is a regular on here, shoot him a PM.
