I just got my turbo timer today. It came off a JDM RX7. I hooked it up and it works only when the clutch is pushed in. Do I need a new harness? The harness that came with the car fit right in, but the car dies when I release the clutch pedal. I did not have the car in gear. I also found out today that it came off an auto and mine is a 5sp is their a defferent harness for the two?

I think the difference is in the auto and 5sp, you'll have to redo the wiring/harness

 

Thanks I just called a local tuner shop who just happened to have the wire diagrams for each and I had to move 2 wires around in the harness. Now it works great. Thanks for your help.
