JDM harness swap

I searched for hours and hours over many months, mostly on here, but also on many other sites and forums (I now joined). And I can't seem to find an answer. I have a 93 touring FD I swapped the JDM R1 motor and harness into it. It runs great (2yrs now), but I have a problem with code 23 Fuel Thermoswitch (sensor). and I think it goes into limp mode every now and then. I bought a new sensor from the dealer, checked the wiring + clip, and installed it when I did the vacuum hose job and block off plates. I still get code 23. (yes I cleared the memory) After much searching I found a few people who have over come this (the JDM fuel thermoswitch wiring is different). A brown/yellow wire???? As I slightly understand, must be removed from the ecu clip and wired into the white body clip, or something like this.???. The only problem is that no one really explains how to do this or which clip/wires to swap/remove/splice, and since I don't want to destroy my car or engine I would like to be sure of what needs to be done fully before I start. I realize the a PFC would take care of this as most people do, but I really don't feel like spending the $2000+ right now, to get it and the fuel kit I want, and tune it. Especially since it runs great the way it is, other than the mess up every now and then.

I know a few people have wired in the JDM computer and know how to correct this fuel thermosensor wiring thing, so I am looking for good info/pics if anyone got any......Thanks!

And, I am now looking at wiring diagrams and I can't seem find a JDM one. (if all else fails I will try to figure it out myself)

The info on this forum is priceless to us FD owners, at least it has been for me. Thanks a lot!

Why not just buy a PFC? They sell on ebay for less the 800$, and plugs right in. You don't need to buy anything additional for it to work.

I am looking to get the info for myself and for others that may need it, since it has been done before. I do plan on getting a PFC, along with other mods, but not right now. I have a RE ecu in it and it runs great, and I would like to compare the hp numbers between the PFC and REdom.

And yes (for others) the PFC will fix this.
