Im looking to put a jdm engine into a shell that i bought. I have a us engine harness already. Is there anything else i will need for the swap besides the ecu?

 

I guess I'll be the first one to post up and ask if you searched or not? Ive been one the forum for over a year now, which isnt that long, but I garantee that this has been covered before and I bet there are several good write ups on it too. I would search and read through the threads you find and then ask specific questions if you still have them. Not trying to be rude just trying to you out the easiest way possible.

You should also search for how to do a compression test with the motor out of the car to see if your JDM motor even has compression, some dont. Id hate to do all the install work and the motor is in need of a rebuild.
