JDM clutch switch!!

hey guys
i just bought a 92 JDM 7, ive got her all ready to safety in canada, except one problem, the clutch starting safety switch doesnt work, its there and the wires run back into the harness, but she starts regaurdless of clutch depressed or not. I really wanna get her legal and this is my last step, does anyone know a way to jimmy it together temporarily or even better know how to get it working on this japan car?? any help will be greatly appriciated guys thanks soo much

I thought thats how FD's came... I can start mine without pressing the clutch... its so much easier!
