I browsed through that thread a couple of days ago, but read it a little more thoroughly just now. Good info there. To simplify, the part nos for the .806 gears are
R508-17-308
R508-17-610C

See post #31 27/53 teeth should be the correct gears for .806 so the ebay b-series/ford ranger gearset should be correct, and looks like ~$80. less than going through amayama...unless I've missed something here.

 

I think I have a new one laying around.
