20b has 3 rotors....therefore adding an extra comustion chamber and more power strokes. Also more exhaust to spin an even bigger turbo.

Rotaries are limited in intake size, because porting size is limited by the water seal and corner seal. To make the port bigger, such as J-port, or bridgeport, you give up engine life and sometimes a smooth idle. Ultimate in porting would be peripheral porting, idle will be at around 3krpm and lack of low end power.

yeah they mean the fastest as in on the track, not the drag strip. They have a "Super lap challenge" where they go on Tsukuba. Fastest time right now is 57 something seconds by cyberevo's evo VI. RE's car should be able to pass it soon, few tweaks of the aero and suspension should do it. FD's are designed for handling, not dragging....

Yeah, The stupid RB20DET isn't worth the waste of money. The RB26DET is WAY too expensive....

....Looks like we may be able to get an Asia forum(or possibly Japan forum) going if we get enough people from this area

Nice Avatar focker...

Yeah I was thinking that. I have a list of people who are from Okinawa/Mainland Japan right now, and have another list of people who have been here before(who I personally know) who would probably visit that forum as well. I'm sure it won't get as much traffic as the 3rd/2nd generation forum's, but it would be nice if we could all interact in one forum to see who's doing what and when we'll meet up at Tokyo to Barbeque/Race etc.

Just a thought there Administrators/Moderators

Ok ok, I left a little request to the Admins to see if they are willing to open up a Japanese/Asian forum

By the way, I read that article in Super Street. There wasn't very much detail in it so I didn't bother to buy the mag. Saying that it is Japan's fastest street FD is also a little silly considering we HAVE seen videos of an FD dynoing like 700hp

Hey Flybye,

Here's a list of user name's that frequent the Forum that I know of who are forum members, or who have been to Japan/Asia/Pacific Island and may be interested in going to this type of Forum:

Me(jspecracer7)
Fd Okinawa
Dragon
Igy
Rutt
1Bad180SX
Ranzo
Tod P31
Inukai
TofsGTR(Spelling? Sorry if I got it wrong guy)
RX7 Ronin
Jerk Racer(Who used to be here awhile ago)
Bad Boy(Guam)
Canman6969
Soul Assassin

This is just from what I've seen browsing the RX7 forum.

There have also been some people asking why we don't have one because they'll be moving/visiting Japan/Asia/Pacific Islands and wanted to meet with some people who actually live here, or perhaps would just like a tour guide that can speak Japanese and English.

.8 kilo's? WTF??? Why can't you boost 1.0 Kilos?

You're definitely NOT in the 400 hp range at .8 kilos
1.0 kilos you should be around 400rwhp, but with .8 ....I'm surprised that skyline RS-turbo didn't beat you

I'm down with the Japan/Asia forum. I just got my FD maybe a month ago now. Been to Japan once, for a month as an exchange student... taken the language for 5 years now. I definitely want to go back... *sigh*

Skylines.
Ok, c'mon guys... how many cars do you know of that are AWD, All-wheel steering (could just be a myth, going from memory here), twin turbo I-6, weighs ~3400lbs (nice 'n big), and STILL pulls .99g on the skidpad?? Sounds like our FDs skid pad ratings, but it's in a much larger, comfortable, commanding car.

That, and just look at it... that car's sick. There is only ONE car I would want more than my FD, and I think that's the R34 GT-R

(jspec, FDokinawa, you guys suck, i envy you)
