J-Auto in business?
J-Auto in business?
I ordered there FD pillow ***** over a week ago and no shipment yet and no response. They don’t answer the phone and don’t call back. No response to emails. Anyone know their status? Thanks
I ordered some pillowballs from J-Auto in August 2023, they were shipped within a week and then arrived about 1-2 weeks after they were shipped. I haven't installed yet but they do look very well-built. I think it's a one-man shop and possibly a side business, although I don't know for sure. If you search on the forums you'll find other people have asked similar questions, he does seem to go quiet or not reply quickly sometimes, but everyone seems to get their parts eventually. From what I've read, most credit cards allow disputes or chargebacks 60-120 days after the original purchase so you've got some time in case he doesn't deliver.
It's normal. I didn't hear from him for a couple months and was getting nervous. I did get my parts like others have. I'm not aware of anyone he's screwed over, but his poor communication is very consistent.
The Mazda OEM pillow ***** are a similar price if you have a Mazda Motorsports membership. They usually ship within a couple days of placing an order online. The requirements are one track day, HPDE, or autocross result per 24 months so it should be easy for most people to qualify. https://www.mazdamotorsports.com/get...am-membership/
I'll give him until 4/19 to respond or ship. If no response then I can cancel through Paypal that he uses for processing order. He shouldn't bother having a pretty website if he can't ship his products within a reasonable time or at least answer the phone or respond to Emails. I'll then order OEM. Thanks for the MM suggestion. I used to be a member many years ago.

I want back and looked and it took about a month to receive mine, not months. The lack of communication is typical, and so are long waits. But he doesn't appear to screw people over.

only a week and already have ants in your pants?
you must not being getting out much post-covid.
otherwise i feel ya, how hard is it to understand that a customer should receive the same treatment and service that said business owner also likely wants to receive when also being a customer? I suppose that’s just too much like work and effort rather than easy money.
