How did you possibly get the custom mazda logo on your pioneer head unit? Btw this is one of the most gorgeous cars I have ever seen!

Btw where did you get all of your oem parts from?

 

the pioneer head unit mazda logo was customized. I went to avic411.com to read up and research on how to modify the boot up screen, and add custom backgrounds. The parts were all imported from japan. Oh yeah, the guy who i sold the car to "crashed" the vehicle in a weeks time he had the car...

 

Nooo!!!! I hope you are ok! I know you weren't involved in the accident, but I'd be pretty damaged if my beautiful ex-wife (car) was in a "crash".

Whoever crashed it is an *******. This car is beautiful, the paint looks amazing. It may have been said in this topic before, but which color (technical name) did you have to painted?

 

This is why if I sell I'll try to sell it to another member here before anyone else. Even if I get rid of my FD, she'll always have a piece of my heart.

 

the paint was factory BB. I think it was color code PX? It wasn't re-sprayed though..

 

Wow really? It seemed like an almost gunmetal color in the second picture... Either way, amazing looking.

As much as we all love these FDs, they are replaceable. He made an intelligent decision to sell the car and it is entirely fixable. Perhaps if you are as concerned you will locate the vehicle and see that it is restored and stored away.



Also, the person who wrecked this car (an r1/2-model with Spirit R parts) lost his *** financially; there is no way that his insurance is going to cover what he paid for this machine. Its a bad situation for all parties so no need to make matters worse by being a di_ _ about it.

 

Another 99 front end with a plate holder but no plates, the mystery continues!
