I know you probably don't want any financial advice but I would suggest you pick up a copy of "Total Money Makeover" by author Dave Ramsey. It's not a get rich quick scheme but more of a money budget program to get out of debt...a Snowball effect if you will. It won't hurt to read it. Oh and, very very nice FD!

25k huh? Your car must have really low milage with that sort of price tag. Good luck.

1. You have created a work of art - she is beautiful - there will never be another like her.

2. Instead of selling her for $25-29K you can apply for a couple of credit cards - go to your bank and ask about a business credit card, get a small business loan to buy the company car, get a home equity line of credit on your house, or hell ask mom and dad for a loan!!

Like I said in my original message - ake sure you have exhausted all avenues before you put her on the market.

Best of luck.

Maduhbee,

On a serious note, I agree with a lot of the comments here and common sense does say to sell the car. These cars are expensive to maintain, plus you have probably put a ton of $$ into her to get her to the condition she is in now.

My point was that if you all ready in debt and are spending more money trying to start a new business, then check with the small business administration where you live to see if they have any programs that will help you get started. See if they would review your business plan.

My wife is trying to start her own business. She has done a bang up job putting together a business plan. When the bank saw it they were impressed and that had a dramatic effect on our ability to get a good amount of money in the form of a line of crdeit on the equity in outr home.

In addition, talk to your bank about consolidating your debts into one payment.
With interest rates as low as they are you might be surprised at what you can afford.

Just a couple of ideas.

Again common sense says sell her, but like I said before exhaust all avenues before you do.

In closing I met my wife 7 years ago when she was driving her black R-1 into Manassess, Virginia and I was driving my red touring model to the DMV to register the car. She sold her car about 2 years ago and I sold mine last year. Both of us miss the FD!!

BTW - I kick my self in the *** as much and twice as hard because she gave me the title to her car as a christmas present when we were dating and I could'nt take it from her ( I am such a gentleman -UGH!!!)

Best of luck.
