Now it's time to buy a 800+rwhp Supra. I am probably buying Ray Wilson's Supra. Yes the same Ray Wilson from PFS.

I think as I've gotten older, and more into the actual sport of racing and drifting, I've started to shy away from straight out power, and care more about handling, responsivenes, and overall balance.

Different strokes for different folks, but I sure as hell wouldn't balk at an 800HP Supra.

Surprisingly, I didn't see any at SEMA this year.

 

The Supra will never fill the void..... I sold my 97 Supra and bought the FD.... Best choice of my life........ Supra<RX7 FD

 

if i remember correctly fastrx7man used to have a list of fast cars hes owned in his sig. i think one was a sup-dawg, so maybe he knows what hes missing.

I did sale it for just about my asking price...but after the sale was completed the new owner allowed me to take my stereo system and he is giving me my wheels and tires off the car. So I acctually came out of this pretty good

I sold it to a local enthusiast...my ebay hasn't ended yet...

goodluck with the supra, good choice for a higher HP, from what I've seen you post you seem to like more of the straight line runs rather than the twisties...You will be able to get that out of the supra.

 

It was hiding in the very back of the third exhibit hall I think it was the only Supra at the show. (it was an Auto). Here ya go......

You see, son, his info shows quarter mile and dyno numbers for his FD, something only a Supra owner would care about. We have been suspicious of this fella for quite some time now. Most FD owners are at the the big tracks or local AutoX's...

That's pretty funny...I probably will eventually get another RX7...that would make number 8. Most if not all of the RX7 owner's I know love taking their 7's to the drag strip. So perhaps you are a little mistaken as to "Most FD owners are at the the big tracks or local AutoX's..."

i had a single turbo 95, liked it but i like the 7 better ! its hard to find someone who actually did all the work on the supra they own...

Ahhh...thanks..but damn..only one? There were several FDs, including Imamura's drift FD. :O

 

The "Endless" FD was pretty sweet. But the guy that was there with the car didn't know squadoosh about the FD. Here's a few photos...

Good luck with the Supra. Honestly, I was looking for a Supra before I ended up with my 7. The Supra is a great car.
As far as filling the void for the 7........I don't know. The overall package(quickness, handling, and especailly feel) is hard to beat. It's ruined me as far as liking other cars. I will probably never sell the 7 because of that..........even if I buy something new.

I find the complete opposite up here Supra vs. FD anyways. (Meaning FD=track/twisty/competition, Supra=Straight line)
