I got stop by police officer and get aticket for not having the front license plate on my car.
Can some one post some pics of front mount license plate or does the mazda dealer sells a braket for the front license plate?

 

I believe that the 2nd gen plate holder will work. There are two bolt holes on the inside of the bumper.

 

Front plates are so hideous on an FD, they're required here in NY too. I don't run one, and thankfully haven't gotten stopped yet (knock on wood), but if I did I'd just pay the fine. Consider it an RX-7 tax.

 

Look under the front bumper in the air dam. Up under this you will find 2 holes that are used for the factory 80 buck bracket. Or you can go to ACE/home depot and buy 2 metal L brackets...you will have to measure it out. That is what I did and it cost me 5 bucks.

Right after I got my Rex....a friend gave me a license plate......
it said"Get in, Sit Down, Hold on".......it was very appropriate but I would never put a plate on the front of my Rex.

 

Grrrrrrrrr....I hate that stupid law here in Ohio...


Been pulled over 6 times for not having a front plate

Twice in my Prelude and Four times in my FD

Total of 4 tickets......and 2 warnings, in fact I just got another warning today

Oh well, even though the tickets are $70 I still can't get past how ugly front plates are....
