cranked up the rx7 last night, primed oil, primed fuel pump, turned over about 3 rev.'s and varooom. no leak's, so far, everything seemed good, very excitied/happy. life is good. the r&r has been an experance, but its good to know how most things go together on the car. thanks's for all the good info this site. ya'll have a good holiday weekend. craig

That's excellent to hear Craig, It's a great feeling of accomplishment eh? I just got done with mine a while back and I tell ya....It felt GOOD! Good luck with the new engine and take it easy on her for the break in

I've noticed that a lot of people who do R+R end up firing it up for the first time at night. LOL.

it's that working 6 to 5. all that copius free time is a killer. i need 40 hrs. work week something terrible. p.s. i did notice a fare amount of smoke coming up around the exhaust/turbo's it cleared up after about 20 minutes is this just normal burn off of sealant/antiseeze.
