Isv adjust

Ok just want to know if there is a way to manualy adjust the isv ? I connected the isv to a on/off. Switch but as I turnthe switch On the car start to idle @ 2500 rpm. Is there a way I can adjust the isv to let the car idle at 1800rpm . Car spec: ems stinger 2rotor I did not connect the isv to the ems.

the idle speed control valve is duty controlled like an injector or a boost control solenoid. It cycle on and off rapidly according to commands from the ECU. The manual for the Stinger S-2R covers auxiliary PWM (pulsewidth modulated) outputs starting on page 46.
The idle valve is not meant to be turned on with a manual switch--that might overheat the solenoid inside if you leave it on too long.

Click Goto-->Auxiliaries in the software. Set Circuit 3 to option #12 (it should be set to off currently), idle speed control. Set your aux PWM frequency to 44hz--this is assuming base PWM frequency is at the default 42hz. Page 52 of the manual gives some very very basic guidelines on how to set up closed loop idle control. You have to turn off idle control in the software first. Then you set a target idle speed and give it some kind of initial position and a cold idle position. I think it is in actual duty cycle.

All that being said... it sounds like you need to get your throttlebody adjusted correctly first. Then you can set up the idle valve to help stabilize the idle further. It's not a substitute for proper throttlebody adjustment.
