Issues With Godspeed Hood Dampers
Yes, I have searched...I saw many of the threads in regards to many of hood damper issues.
I picked up the godspeed hood dampers off of ebay and they appear to be TEIN knockoffs. All the components look to be of similar design.
To the issue...I have an INGS+1 CF hood, and am having issues with the female ball joint (on the hood) bumping into the fender when I try to close the hood. I can get the hood down until it is almost an inch from closing, but that is as far as I can go. I double-checked and made sure that everything was installed correctly, and I am now at a loss. I read Crispy's thread about cutting the fender, but I don't think I can even do that to solve my problem.
Anyone have an issues with the godspeed/TEIN hood dampers and aftermarket CF hoods?

I had to leave the bracket a bit loose and open and close the hood until the ball joint was at an angle that cleared the hood. Then tightened it up. It just may be your type of hood though. I have had no problems w/ this set at all. Garret
