Question ISC solenoid wiring harness question ...

When that "reputable shop" destroyed my car, they destroyed some of my wiring harness, too. What I'm guessing is where the ISC (Idle Speed Control) Solenoid is not just two wires ... one green and one black.

I need to match the wires up to the correct spot on the ISC clip. Based on observation/comparison of the AWS harness clip, my guess is that the black wire is on the "top" side of the ISC. But I'd like to be certain, ya dig? Could someone who knows or someone who just wants to go look under their hood look right at the base of the ISC harness clip and see what color wire is on "top" and which color is on "bottom"? You can just say if black is on top or bottom, that's fine with me. It would help me out more than bunches!

Oh if you don't know where the ISC is, it's on the firewall side of the upper intake manifold, right beside the throttle body, and it's about the size and shape of a D battery. It's also on page F-81 of the shop manual. Thanks for help!

On my car (93 Base Auto) the connector is white with the wires entering it in a side by side configuration which when mounted to the solenoid has the black w/white strip aligned above or on top of the green wire. The connector itself is a "keyed" type which will only allow it to go in one way.

The top wire is black with a white or yellow stripe. The bottom wire is slightly smaller in diameter and is black with a green stripe.

Thanks guys! That was my guess -- thicker black on top. It looks like there are a couple of other colored wires running around out there, but it all works. My harness clip was destroyed and I just have two wires, that's why I asked. Thanks jr and thanks Bill (haven't heard from you in a while!).
