SC Intrument dash harness necessary to swap?

Hey guys
I have been gathering info and parts for my auto to manual swap and thought I had everything figured out but today when I started putting back the new dash board I realized that the dash instrument harness is actually from automatic harness and not a manual . I was told that the dash was removed from a manual rx7 and I didn't check until today FYI I have already replaced the main front harness and the dash harness with correct manual ones lol
My question is if it's necessary to replace it for a manual one or will it work just as good ? I'm trying to do this the right way so if I need to splice wires etc ,I'm going to try and buy the right one.
Thanks in advance

You can swap them, but you don't have to.

I didn't swap any harnesses on my auto to manual swap.
The things you need to wire are the clutch switch, and reverse light.

X-14 and X-05 are different on the auto. Repinning the correct connectors is not a big deal.
