interior dome light does not come on?

when i open the doors the interior dome light is not coming on for some reason.

the lights come on when i push each button, but it will not come on when i set the turn swtich to door and open the door.

is there a fuse for this or just the two switches in the door hinge controlling this?

check the little momentary switch that gets pressed in when the door is closed, see if both wires are connected on the back and see if its sticking.

You can remove the switch by removing the phillips head screw. Make sure everything is clean and free of corrosion. The switch just has to complete the lighting circuit to ground. Mine did this once before because the screw holding the switch in was loose.
