Interior color options

Maybe this should go in the lounge...anyway....

My FD's interior trim pieces are starting to flake and peel. My question is, would having them painted Montego Blue (or just a deep blue) look good with my tan leather interior? i can't decide.

i'm not looking to do it anytime soon, but do want to start evaluating my options. i saw some awesome looking interiors with painted trim, but they are all black. tan's a bit harder to customize, i think, and have it look right.

has anyone seen this done with a tan interior? any opinions?

thanks!

Well, I'm sure this will head off into the Interior/Exterior sections.

I painted the center console a little while ago on mine. I used a Black Metallic paint which looks nice with the tan color interior.

I don't think a bold color such as red or blue would look all that good. Maybe a deep dark blue that was close to black wouldn't be too bad.

Pull the center piece (where the e-brake, stick shift, etc are located. It's easy) or use your ash tray as a test and try out the color. If you don't like it, just use some Easy Lift Off and try a different color. Once you find the color that looks good, paint all the panels.
