interesting wiring problems...
Hello all,
While im waiting for my injectors to come back from RC Engineering, I decided to do some mods while she was out of commision. First, I went ahead and did the full non sequential conversion, as well as going through and fixing things. One of the things im fixing is a wire that was pulled out of the front harness, that feeds into the ECU. It appears that the previous idiot had taken that wire out, and looped it with another pin from the same connector but was blank. So, basically, I had a blank wire feeding another pin on the same ECU. I traced it according to the diagram, and its the brake light signal to the ECU. What does wire do? is it for reseting the ECU? i have tried reseting the ecu many times, and not sure if it took or not. Also, I am unable to pull codes from the ecu, even when i disconnected a connector on purpose trying to get the ecu to display a code for me...any ideas anyone? thanks in advance
