Interesting Idle Issue
I recently did a full nonsequential conversion and the car was running great and idleing at about 900 rpms when I set it on the PFC.
I just decided to replace my injectors this week and reassembled the car now the idle is sitting at about 1600 rpms and will not come down. The car did this in the past but after driving it for about a day the idle went back to normal. This time no such luck.
If I manualy push the the throttle cable down on the throttel body the car will almost die and then settle at 900 as it should but as soon as I rev the engine it will pop back up to 1600. Is there a possibilty that I some how shortented the throttle cable when I was pulling the car apart?
Also now when I start the car sometimes it will idle hunt and the accelator pedal can be pushed but the car will respond on about 2 second delay. Eventually the car will then die. If I start it back up the car will start to idle at 1600 and everything will be fine minus the idle.
I sprayed wd40 around the throttle body to attempt to lube anything if it was sticking and it didn't help. Also sprayed carb cleaner to check for vacuum leaks and couldn't find any. Check all couplers and lines for tears and couldn't find any..
Any ideas?

Are you still running coolant through the throttle body? If so, maybe the idle control of that system is malfunctioning?
Sounds to me like a binding throttle cable. You should have enough slack on the cable so that if you slightly lift up and down on the cable at the throttle cam, it will not affect the RPMs. Check the TPS % with you Commander to verify that you are at 0% TPS when you have the idle issue.

my is doing that same thing just recently. as i'm coming to a stop, my idel would stay about 1500rpm and when i stop. it would come down to 1000rpm. I'm not sure if its my throttle cable too?

Pretty sure its the cable binding. If I pull up on the accelator pedal with my toe in the car it will idle normal but I rev it and it will go back to 1.5k rmps and I pull the pedal again and its back to 900. Is there an easy way to fix it? I took off the cable and made sure it moved freely but it didn't seem to do anything.

Try adjusting slack in the cable at the cam,(two 12mm bolts). You should have enough slack to make the car idle on the cam stop and still achieve WOT.
If this does not work, you must have a bind in the cable somewhere. Take the cable off and see if it goes back and forth freely. If it does not, call Ray at Malloy and order a new one.
