Come on people, this is like one of the timeless questions in life that doesn't seem to have an answer. It's like "where does the universe end" or "what's the meaning of life," things like that.
That being said, I'm willing to contribute $10 for it. Could you post the sample spread-sheet she sent? I think you could attach it to one of your posts.
Thanks,
Kevin

Yeah if this thing works out, it could be a yearly count. Thanks for the pledge!

I'd be in on a donation. I've fooled around with Florida's DMV site in the past and haven't gotten anywhere electronically with finding that kind of data. Calling the DMV and having them do research would probably be the only way, and it would be quite time consuming to call ALL 50 states DMV's for the info.
Actually, that just gave me a good idea. I'll dig around on the phone with Florida's DMV tomorrow and see if that's a public record, how much info I could get, etc. If I could get that, maybe we could organize and have an FD owner in each state do the same thing - use the power of the forum to get the info together .
Regardless, this is a really slick idea. I've always been a bit envious of hearing Ferrari guys talking about certain rare models, what happened to serial #xxxx, etc. - our cars are worthy of that kind of attention as well .
